Gay Street Realty partnered with TRIAD to initiate the development of a medical office campus combining a new, three-story building with the existing on-site medical office building. The campus includes site improvements to accommodate specific site amenities, such as a courtyard designed to tie the two buildings together and foster the warm natural environment sought by the tenants. Improvements to the existing building were made through the incorporation of materials from the new building to further reinforce the unity of the new medical office campus. Through the application of a warm material and color palette and the use of pedestrian detailing pleasing to patients, the new campus is designed to attract and retain the targeted medical tenants, thus competing favorably in the lucrative, Doctor's Hospital West market. Development of the new Building no. 2 and the simultaneous creation of the new medical office campus, firmly establishes the West Broad Street Medical Center as the preferred destination location for the offices of medical professionals working in association with adjacent Doctor's Hospital West.
