JAROD'S LAW WHAT IS JAROD'S LAW? A law that was created because of the avoidable death of a young boy. The death was caused by a cafeteria lunch table that collapsed on the child. If the tables and/or other equipment in schools were properly inspected, this accident and similar ones wouldn't have happened. Thus the state signed this law into effect to ensure all school districts and the health department take the necessary steps to do thorough inspections on school equipment. Key elements of the law :
