Because society needs to be better informed about the necessity for alternative energy sources, the Wind and Solar Learning Center at Glacier Ridge is a sheltered out door classroom designed as a responsible engagement of its site. The visitor's experience will gradually and progressively unfold as we learn about the development and implications of alterative energy sources. Through the use of hands-on interpretive activities, the existing wind and solar power generating equipment will be showcased. Visitors will gain a broad understanding of alterative energy sources and carry this knowledge forward into their daily lives.
